Vintage Tandy Clarinette 101 Home Stereo Entertainment System. Includes an Amplifier, Tuner, British Turntable, 8-Track and Cassette Combo Player. This unit has been recently serviced, and everything seems to work well. The BSR Turntable can play 33⅓, 45 or 78 RPM records (it has a special 78 rpm sapphire-stylus). The Superheterodyne slide-rule receiver pulls in stations very well, and is ideal for DX'ing. Even the 2-way air-suspension speakers have a pretty decent sound. Used, but in good condition. Realistic Clarinette-101, The "everything" system! Play pre-recorded cassette and 8-tracks, or record your own from the phono or of-the-air. You can even record 8-tracks from cassettes, or cassettes from 8-track ~ or make simultaneous recordings on both kinds of tape from any source. Cassette player has record light, pause control, digital counter and storage space for 6 cassettes. 8-track player has Auto-Stop and record lights, plus lighted program indicators. The dual VU meters, with left and right channel record level meters, light up while recording. The 3-speed full sized ceramic-cartridge changer plays any size record with auto-shutoff. Tuner has lighted slide-rule dial, selector switch with lighted indicator, stereo indicator, AM/FM tuning meter, pushbuttons for loudness, hi "scratch" filter", and AFC on FM. Left and right microphone jacks and stereo head-phone jack. Speaker systems have 8" and 3" drivers in 22x13x6½" walnut grained vinyl veneer cabinets with black grill cloth. The dimensions of the main unit is 9½x21½x16½"
